Ordinary People Making an Extraordinary Noise

A NOTE FOR NOTE MATCH CAMPAIGN
Curt Strand will generously match every dollar donated to Aspen Noise during September.

Created in 2014 by Barbara Lynn Bloemsma, Aspen Noise is a multi-generational, all-inclusive singing group. Our singers range in age from 5 to 90 and beyond!

We include everyone: differently-abled singers, professional singers, shy singers and more.

Aspen Noise meets weekly at the Aspen Chapel to share fellowship

and to celebrate the joy of music.

Aspen Noise performs throughout the valley including the Sardy House Tree Lighting,

Lead With Love and of course, the Aspen Chapel.

In 2016, Aspen Noise was awarded the Dan Davidson Award of

Excellence for Excellence in Inclusion from the Colorado Developing Disabilities Council.

This is the highest recognition in the State of Colorado.

Singing is an act of vibration.

It takes music from the realm of the unformed and moves it from within to without.

It is one of the most powerful and meaningful ways to connect with others.

Mission:

To bring more Love into the world~ Yep, that’s it…

WE ARE HERE TO BRING MORE LOVE AND JOY INTO THE WORLD

What and Who:

Aspen Noise is a multi-generational singing group, ranging in age from 5 to none o your beeswax over 90! J It is a precious gift to share in the relating and exchanges between diverse people of all ages. Some of our singers use a wheelchair and are disabled, and that makes it even more wonderful- the beauty is in our harmonic diversity!

We meet each week to gather in community, connect generations, and share joy. We explore music through singing, instruction, and dancing, in an atmosphere that is FREE FROM JUDGEMENT. Some weeks we meet solely for the fellowship, and some weeks we rehearse diligently for an upcoming gig. The whole thing is geared toward the beauty and power of authenticity.

Aspen Noise is led by Barbara Lynn Bloemsm.  Please feel free to contact her with any questions, babalynn7@gmail.com

Aspen Noise is free and open to the public......bring your friends and family!
