A morning workshop on family as a practice during the holidays with Lisa Goddard

Ram Dass, the spiritual teacher once said, “If you think you’re enlightened, go spend time with your family!”In this 4 hour workshop, we will explore through meditation, inquiry and discussion, the practices of navigating the holidays with ease and an appropriate response.
Areas we will cover include:
Knowing Your Hooks
Allow Others to Be Who They Are
Owning Your Reactions/Self Compassion
Letting Be and Letting Love
We will start the day with a 1/2 hour of heart opening yoga with special guest teacher, River Morgan. Please wear comfortable clothing. Tea and light snack provided.

About Lisa Goddard
Lisa has been practicing mindfulness, meditation and yoga since 1999 and has been facilitating these practices since 2000. Inspired by the teachings of Jack Kornfield, Norman Fischer, Suzuki Roshi and Ajahn Chah, Lisa received training through Spirit Rock Meditation Center, Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, Zen Hospice Project, Mindful Schools and is a Certified Mindfulness Facilitator through UCLA's Semel Institute for Neuroscience & Human Behavior.
